Client:
The National Library of New Zealand
Client need
Develop employee's creativity and problem-solving skills in a rapidly changing environment where people are being asked to think about how library services can be delivered differently.
What we did
We designed a workshop as a development spring board rather than a discreet piece of training. It focused on a range of methods and techniques for problem solving and being creative. The techniques were applicable not only at work but in one's personal life as well.
Results
The workshop was delivered to over 300 staff across the organisation. The session was well recieved and engaged the learners through great activities and techniques.
What they said
It was great to go to a session where thinking and problem solving actually occurred and was linked to our new way of working. The action planning allowed time for applying the techniques to our work.
