St John needed to help their youth leaders unlock their leadership style to keep them relevant as an organisation.
Youth leaders are the engine behind St John’s growing success in New Zealand communities. They come from diverse backgrounds and often have grown up through the St John programmes starting at the age of 6 years old. This audience knows the organisation well, but needed to be given the skills and confidence to step up as a leader in St John.

Immediate response after the workshop was extremely positive, with youth leaders feeling confident and excited about applying their new skills. Since completion of the workshops, many attendees have stepped up into leadership roles and have put their learnings into practice.
