A little about the role
About you
Why us
Under our guiding principle ‘Better learning is life-changing’, Inspire Group crafts best practise learning solutions for organisations worldwide. The learning can be a combination of many things – digital content, on the job performance support, virtual workshops, apps, board games, podcasts – whatever meets the business need and solves the challenge. We’re a creative bunch of people, crafting learning experiences that are meaningful, and make a difference.
If you would like to be part of our Inspire crew and join an organisation with a culture that rocks, we would love to speak with you.

Due to an internal promotion that takes effect early in 2021, Inspire Group have a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning Architect/Client Partner to join our Auckland team. The role is a fascinating balance of sales and client development with creative learning design and architecture, giving you the opportunity to combine your strong people and communication skills with innovative learning design expertise.
Our projects can comprise a variety of learning and development content, from onboarding and induction for new staff to blended leadership programmes for experienced managers (and everything in between). Your role will be to identify and acquire new clients and opportunities, and work closely with them and the wider Inspire Group teams to develop learning solutions that accurately address each unique brief and company context. This may extend to workshop design and delivery (virtual and in-person), online learning modules, digital resources, motion graphics, physical materials and video content. Your experience working across a variety of learning deliverables and projects would be highly advantageous.
The role would be best suited to an experienced learning designer or consultant who also thrives in identifying and developing new relationships with customers. You'll have the opportunity to consult, conceptualise and collaborate with a broad range of clients and stakeholders on some of New Zealand's most innovative and rewarding learning and leadership programmes. Key skills for the role include:
- Consultative selling, business development and account management (primarily within services environments)
- Learning & Leadership design experience (ideally in a blended environment that includes workshops, digital and physical learning materials)
- Creativity, solution focus, and a curious mindset
- Strong facilitation, presentation and consultation skills
Our Company Culture
Inspire Group is proud to be a pioneer of innovative learning design, and our company culture is founded on the core principles of Aroha, Excellence, Say = Do, and Get It Done. We are proud to offer a highly flexible environment that includes a hybrid working from home/office based model. This enables our people to balance their work and personal lives appropriately whilst still taking advantage of face-to-face collaboration when possible. Our people are creative, curious, collaborative and compassionate, so these are key behaviours that we look for in each role that we recruit.
